Predeceased by his beloved wife Jacqueline Hoye Morris. Survived by his daughter Robin Reimer-Tilgner (Immo) grandchildren, Carl (Alain), Nicholas, Bruno (Shauna), David (Jamie) and Sophie. Proud great-grandfather of Kurt, Jacqueline and Jack. His family appreciates his legacy of intellectual curiosity, love of history and fierce debate. Born in Rosenort, MB to Peter Reimer and Elizabeth Ratzlaff, he is also survived by his brothers, Peter, John and Ben and by his sister Carol. Following his wartime service in the R.C.A.F., Harvey joined TCA, Montreal and later spent enjoyable years at Mountainview (Trenton), before joining the National Research Council in Ottawa. He and his wife Jacqueline shared their love of restoring old Ontario farmhouses, first in Picton and then in the Ottawa Valley. After his retirement from NRC and hobby-farming, his free spirit took him to Port Renfrew, BC, where he will always be watching the seals and the whales and walking his beloved beach. In memoriam donations may be made to St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1619 Main St., Stittsville, ON, K2S 1B8.
