Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLEN LAI-YEE NG CHAN After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Ellen passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2002. She will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by her loving and supportive husband Chee Bong Chan of 21 years of marriage. Her mother predeceased her in 2001. She is survived and missed by her father, Wing Kun Ng; brothers, Norman (Margaret), Larry (Winnie), Herman (Polly) sisters, Fung Yee (Jackie Kwan), Rebecca (Tony Li), Irene (Harvey Lui), Karen (Willie Kwong) and Michelle and eight nephews and nieces. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ellens life will be held in the Cornerstone Alliance Church at 920 Cottonwood Rd. on Tuesday, March 12 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, it was Ellens will that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division at 193 Sherbrook St. or St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation at 409 Tache Ave. We would like to give our deepest thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the St. Boniface Hospital Oncology Department, Riverview Palliative Care Unit, Home Care of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and the staff and volunteer drivers. Also, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to Pastor Will, staff and the church family of the Cornerstone Alliance Church, friends and neighbours for their care, love and prayers.
