RICHARD CURTIS BIRD Peacefully on Wednesday, March 6, 2002 Curtis Bird passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 68. Curtis leaves to cherish his memories wife Frances; children, Grant (Millie), Dale, Raymond and Roger; grandchildren, Christopher, Eric, Kip, Reagan and Skyler; great-grandson Caleb; brother Ross; sister Lois; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Curtis loved model airplanes and was an avid reader. He enjoyed meeting and working with the public during his career. He and his wife loved their walks through Kildonan and City parks where they would enjoy the trees and squirrels. Curtis was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 11 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3B 2H8.
