Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEVE BASHUCKY On March 8, 2002 Steve Bashucky passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 76 years. Dad is lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Anne; his two sons, Bill (Debbie), grandchildren, Jay and Kyla; and Jack, grandchildren, Amanda and Bryan and their mother Laurie; sisters, Jean Lopuck and Kay Dudar; brother Bill (Henrietta) sisters-in-law, Joyce Bashucky, Jenny Ahoff, Patsy Muska and Doreen (Rudy) Tarko; brothers-in-law, Jimmy (Nellie) Domenco, Lloyd Domenco, Allan (Kelly) Domenco, Richard (Delphine) Domenco, Roger (Jan) Domenco, and Larry Domenco; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Doris; sister Mary Lopuck; brothers, Nick and Mike. Dad was born in Winnipeg, MB, on August 27, 1925 where he resided his entire life. He retired in 1984 after working with Winnipeg Hydro for 37 years. Fishing and bird hunting were a favourite pastime and he had many fond memories of special times shared with friends and family. A celebration of Dads life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, at Klassen Funeral Chapel, with Father Cornell Zubritsky officiating. Interment to follow at the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. Viewing will be held at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, March 12, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Bryan Bashucky, Jay Bashucky, Robbie Domenco, Ricky Domenco, Roger Domenco and Arthur Shaw. Honourary pallbearers are Bill Bashucky (brother), Allan and Richard Domenco. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the excellent care they gave to Dad during his stay at the hospital.
