MATTHEW JOHN SPENCER SPENCE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our infant son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin Matthew John Spencer Spence on Sunday, March 10, 2002 in Edmonton, AB. Baby Matthew will be greatly missed by Mommy and Daddy Donna and Darryl; by his brothers, Ryan and Taylor; and sister Aryton. Also surviving are grandparents, Rene and Lillian Spence, Edith Gerard and Caroline Morrisseau; as well as great-grandparents, Andrew Sinclair and Verna and Harold Gerard; aunties, Chas (Adrian), Andrea (Mike), Shannon (Kevin), Erin (Pat), Gretta, Myrna; and his uncles, Claude, Rennie (Joan), and special uncle Lorne. He also leaves his great-aunts, Theresa and Janice; aunts and uncles from the Morrisseau family; and numerous cousins. Baby Matthew was predeceased by his grandpa Ernest Gerard; grandparents, Amelia Sinclair, Richard and Helen Harry; great-grandparents, Joseph and Louise Spence, Frank and Harriet Gerard; and an aunt Karen Morrisseau. The family would like to thank the staff in the Pediatric Cardiology at the Variety Childrens Heart Center and nurse Lea Legge, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Winnipeg and Edmonton. We would also like to thank grandmother Edith Gerard who was with us through Matthews life, we couldnt have gone through this without her love and support. The Spence family greatly appreciates the kindness and support of the family, friends, neighbours and the community of Sagkeeng. Wake services will be held at the family home, South Shore, Fort Alexander, MB. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Fort Alexander. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be uncle Lorne and special friend Kirby Fontaine.
