MARGARET (PEAR) CHRISTIE GIBSON With her family at her bedside, Margaret Gibson of Calgary, AB passed away on March 11, 2002 at the age of 59 years, after a short battle with cancer. She was born in 1942 and immigrated to Canada in 1970. She resided in Winnipeg until she moved to Calgary in 1996. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, John (Andrea), Robert (Natalie) of Winnipeg; daughter Anna of Calgary; and granddaughters, Megan and Chantel of Calgary. She will also be remembered by her sisters, Agnes, Ruby, and Racheal of Scotland, and Barbara of Winnipeg; as well as many other relatives in Scotland and England. She was predeceased by her husband Archibald of Winnipeg in August, her mother Margaret and father Robert both of Glasgow, Scotland. She was a loving mother and kind person who enjoyed the simple things in life such as spending time with her grandchildren and going to bingo. A service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, at the Voyage Funeral Home, 1531 Pembina Hwy. in Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, a memorial tribute may be made in Margarets name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
