Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN INGRAM WILSON John (Jack) Wilson died from complications of cancer March 12, 2002 at St. Boniface Hospital. A long time resident of Winnipeg, Jack was born in Strathclair, MB on August 26, 1920. His loving family, wife Molly; his sons, Darrell and David; his daughter-in-law Janice; and his grandchildren, Rachael and Ted, survives him. Jack joined the R.C.N.V.R. in 1940 and served through the Second World War. Jack was a retired City of Winnipeg firefighter with 37 years of service. He retired in 1985 as a District Chief. The family would like to thank all of the health care support team that helped care for him these past weeks, especially, his visiting nurse, Evelyn, and the staff of the Palliative Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial service will be held in St. Bartholomews Anglican Church, 881 Autumnwood Drive on Friday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to join the family for refreshments in the Parish Hall after the service. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to the Firefighters Burn Fund, 202 - 666 St. James St., Winnipeg, R3G 3J6, or the Palliative Care Unit of the St. Boniface Hospital 409 Tache Ave. Winnipeg, R2H 2A6.
