Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE ETHEL PARKER It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Marjorie Parker, on March 11, 2002, at Golden West Centennial Lodge at the age of 92. Marjorie was predeceased by three husbands, Sidney Thomas, Harold Haysham and Jack Parker, and by her sister Ruth Andrew and brothers, Arnold and Ronald Coughlin. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by grandsons, Donald (fiancee Karen Kouhi) and Robert Mellor; stepdaughters, Olive Mellor, Joan Johannson and Linda Love; nieces, Cathy Hanson and Linda Turner; nephews, Bob, Dennis and Sinclair Coughlin; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Marjorie was born in Winnipeg and lived her whole life here. Prior to her marriage to Sid Thomas, she worked for the law firm of Pitblado & Hoskin, and she returned to work there for a short time after Sids sudden death until she met and married Harold Haysham in 1957. Marjorie and Harold enjoyed a blissful 23 year marriage and loved to entertain family at their home on Roger Street. Marjorie was a terrific cook, and we all remember many great family dinners, Saturday night card games and summer visits in their lovely backyard. Following Harolds death in 1980, Marjorie met and married Jack Parker in 1986 and they had seven happy years together before Jack passed away in 1993. At Marjories request, cremation has taken place and a family service was held on Friday, March 15 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Johannson officiating.
