JOHN B. SNOW It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John (Jack) B. Snow the beloved husband of Helen, loving father to son David of Winnipeg, daughter Brenda Hudspeth (John) of Calgary, daughter Donna Burt (Joe) of Winnipeg, and son Paul (June) of St. Johns, NF; and grandchildren, Darren, Claudia, Kimberley, Shannon, and John Charles; and great-granddaughter Chelsea. Jack was predeceased in 1987 by his cherished daughter Barbara. He also leaves to mourn his brother Winston (Elsie) of Newfoundland, sisters, Cora Mitchell of Newfoundland, Joyce Smith of Nova Scotia, and Norma (Mel) Pratt of Nebraska. Jack was employed as a financial Analyst with the United States Air Force in Newfoundland and Labrador and moved west to Winnipeg in 1975 to continue his career with Transport Canada. Because of the closeness of the family, many of the children followed Jack and Helen to Winnipeg where Jack retired in 1985. Jack loved to golf and spent much of his 17 years of retirement on the golf course. He loved his family beyond anything else and he loved nothing better than having everyone at home. He was very proud of all of his family and of their accomplishments. The family wishes to thank Dr. Louridas who allowed that one more hope, the wonderful team of doctors, nurses, aides and support staff of the Vascular Surgery Unit at St. Boniface Hospital and the caring and compassionate staff of Three North at the Grace Hospital where Jack spent three months. Memorial services will be held at Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd., at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd., R3R 0G6 or to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface General Hospital, 409 Tache Ave., R2H 9Z9. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
