CATHERINE MEAD It is with great sadness the family of Catherine Mead, aged 93 years, announce her passing on Sunday, March 17, 2002 at Fred Douglas Lodge. Mrs. Mead was born on January 28, 1909 in Thunder Bay, ON. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, son Richard, his two daughters, Nancy-Lynn and Jocelyn (Glen) and family, Nikki and Nadine, daughter Lila, her two daughters, Lorene (Russ) and family, Codie, Julie and Blair, and Marnie (Todd) and family, Susan, Michael, Kathleen, Thomas and Todd Jr.; son Charles; daughter Yvonne; daughter Marguerite, her son Bruce (Brenda) also grandchildren, Darryl, Wayne and family Dylan and Kaitlyn, Sherrie and family Benjamin and Henry. Predeceased by her husband Richard; son Don; two daughters-in-law, Nancy and Dorothy; also two sons-in-law, Tom and Leon; parents; brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held for family and friends on Friday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. in The Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Interment in St. Vital Cemetery will follow the reception. Peacefully sleeping, resting at last. The worlds weary troubles and trials are past. In silence she suffered, in patience she bore, Til God called her home to suffer no more.
