JACK GAMBREL It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Jack Gambrel on Wednesday, March 20, 2002, aged 73 years, beloved husband of Nettie (Kitty). Jack was born in Muskegon, MI and came to Canada as a child. He was raised and educated in Winnipeg. Jack was a locomotive engineer with the CPR, retiring after 43 years of service. Jack was married to Nettie for 52 years and was very proud of his family, especially his grandchildren and their many accomplishments. He also enjoyed fishing, casino jaunts, family card games, crossword puzzles and travelling and sharing his life with Nettie. Left to cherish Jacks memory, along with his loving wife Nettie are his four children, Larry (Marcia), Colleen (Cliff), Linda (Don), Brian (Wendy) 11 grandchildren, Jason, Corrie, Robert, Dana, Jennifer, Richard, Steven, Erin, David, April, Bryce; brothers, Jim (Muriel), Arthur (Shirley), many relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 22 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 23 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave., with a Basilian Father officiating.
