HILDA MAY WINTER December 10, 1903 - March 19, 2002 Peacefully with family by her side, Hilda passed away at Middlechurch Home at the age of 98. Hilda was predeceased by her beloved husband John William in 1976 and her son-in-law Norman Preece in 1989. She will be lovingly remembered by her son John and her daughter Margaret, granddaughter Laura Suggitt, grandsons, David (Corrie) and John (Diane) and four great grandchildren Jennifer, Joel, Shawna and Mandy. The family would like to extend their thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Middlechurch Home for the excellent care and compassion that Hilda received during her residency. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Middlechurch Home, 280 Balderstone Rd., West St. Paul, MB, R4A 4A6. Hilda will always be remembered for her beautiful English Garden at her cottage in Grand Marais. Rest in peace Nana. OUT IN THE GARDEN ALONE WITH GOD PLANTING THE SEEDS AND TILLING THE SOD HOPING AND PRAYING THE SEEDS WOULD GROW TENDING THE FLOWERS, FOR SHE PRIZED THEM SO CHILD-LIKE SHE LOVED EACH FLOWERING FACE AND KEPT THEM THRIVING ABOUT THE PLACE WE PRAY THEE GOD, ON THAT OTHER SHORE TO GIVE HER A GARDEN FOR EVERMORE.
