ANNE BASHUCKY On March 20, 2002, Anne Bashucky (Domenco) passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 76 years. Mom is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Bill (Debbie), grandchildren, Jay and Kyla; and Jack, grandchildren, Amanda and Bryan and their mother Laurie; sisters, Jenny Ahoff, Patsy Muska, Doreen (Rudy) Tarko; brothers, Jimmy (Nellie), Lloyd, Allan (Kelly), Richard (Delphine), Roger (Jan), Larry (Marlene) sisters-in-law, Kay Dudar, Jean Lopuck, Joyce Bashucky; brother-in-law Bill (Henrietta) Bashucky; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Steve (March 8, 2002) parents, Anne and Norman Domenco; brothers, Max, Eddie, Nick; sisters, Mary and Kay. Mom was born in Winnipeg, MB on August 11, 1925 where she resided her entire life. She was a loving and caring wife and mother - her life was her family. Mom was "Mother and Baba" to many, always having the time to lend an ear or a hand to those who needed her. A celebration of Moms life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 25 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, with Fr. Cornell Zubritsky officiating. Interment to follow at the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. Viewing will be held at the funeral chapel on Sunday, March 24 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Bryan Bashucky, Jay Bashucky, Robbie Domenco, Ricky Domenco, Gary Domenco, and Arthur Shaw. Honorary pallbearers are all of Moms brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank the staff of Unit 5-5 at Seven Oaks Hospital for the excellent care they gave Mom during her brief stay at the hospital. Thanks to the nursing staff and homecare workers, especially Mary Anne. Your kindness did not go unnoticed. Special thanks to Doreen Brown. If friends and family so wish, donations may be made in Moms memory to CancerCare Manitoba or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
