MURIEL ELIZABETH CAMPBELL (nee POWELL) On Tuesday, March 12, 2002, our beloved Mom passed away peacefully with her daughter Cathy by her side. Muriel was born in Biggar, SK, July 26, 1917. She was predeceased by our Dad, May 1999. She will be lovingly remembered by her four daughters, Jackie (Harm) Smid, of St. Albert, AB, Jan (Vic) Blanchette of Calgary, AB, Patti (John) Summers of Milestone, SK, and Cathy (Bill) Corbett of Winnipeg. Very special "Poppie" to her grandchildren, Brad (Jennifer) Smid, Jeremy Smid, Darcy, Deanna, Angela Summers, Cassie, Brock and Brett Corbett. Also, survived by one brother George Powell of Victoria, BC. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. Special thank you to the staff at Oakview Place Extendicare for their care and compassion given our Mom.
