OLIVE CORINNE MEDER Peacefully, with her family at her side, Olive Meder passed away on Friday, March 22, 2002 at Seven Oak Hospital at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1969; parents, Lance and Effie; brothers, Ken, Hubie, and Harold (Bud) Barkley and sister Helen Dorrset. Olive will be lovingly remembered by her son Clifford Meder and wife Donna; sister-in-law Beatrice Meder; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Olive was born and raised in Winnipeg. She will be remembered for her great love of growing and caring for her flower garden. The family would like to thank the emergency staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Also special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ICU unit at Seven Oaks Hospital for all the special care they gave Mom. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Terance McGrath officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Olives memory to the Seven Oaks Hospital Foundation, 2300 McPhillips St., Winnipeg, MB, R2V 9Z9 or a charity of ones choice.
