ALICE CROOK Peacefully at the age of 75, on Saturday, March 23, 2002 at the Health Sciences Centre, Mom died with family at her side. Alice, predeceased by husband Bill, is survived by three sons, Gordon (Liz), Bill (Norma), and Dave (Brenda), and her three grandchildren, Ben, Brenna, and Nell. Alice spent most of her life in Winnipeg, and her never-ending generosity made her home the centre of activity for her extended family. Mom enjoyed many winters in Texas with husband Bill and was a dedicated golfer and lawn bowler for many years. Alice shared her home and her talents in the kitchen with family, and many friends of her sons. Alices sons invite family and friends to a gathering to celebrate Alices life this Wednesday, March 27 from 11:00 to 1:30 p.m. at 26 Rosalyn Cres. In keeping with Alices wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. The family would like to thank the staff of GH4 of the Health Sciences Centre for their support and attention. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a not-for-profit organization that supports improving the quality of life of young people in Winnipeg.
