Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN PERONNETTE GAMBLE Jean Peronnette Gamble, 91, of Northport, passed away peacefully March 22, 2002 in North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born in Winnipeg, she was the daughter of the late John and Alma (Wood) Erickson. She raised her family of four in Amherst, NS, later moved to Springhill then on to Hamilton, ON, where she worked in retail sales for Mills Brothers in the Jewellery and China department. She retired and joined her family in the Ottawa area, later moving to Northport, NS. She had many hobbies including knitting, reading, watching TV and baking. Surviving are daughters, Marion (Henry) Wenting, Whitehorse, YK, and Helen Gamble, Perth, ON; sons, Donald (Betty), Northport, and George (Susan), Hubley, NS; brother Leonard Heroux, Eriksdale, MB; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Lee, sister Marion Long, brother Lyman Heroux. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service to be arranged in late April. Donations may be made to the Eriksdale Hospital or charity of choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mundles Funeral Home, Pugwash.
