Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA (ANNIE) WINTER Annie Winter was born August 17, 1919 in Einlage, Ukraine and died March 24, 2002 at the Bethania Personal Care Home. In 1943, she moved to Germany where she was taught mid-wifery. After the war she lost touch with her family for 22 years reuniting with them in 1966. In 1946 she was sent to a work camp in Russia in a forested area where she worked for 12 years. Those were the most difficult times of my life, but God gave me the strength to survive the daily ordeal. She is survived by two brothers, John (Kay) Dave (Marilyn) one sister Tina (Peter) Loewen; sister-in-law Helen Winter and their families. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 27 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev Franz Wiebe officiating. Viewing at the church prior to the service. Interment in Elmwood cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bethania Personal Care Home. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Bethania for their love and care.
