Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOAN KATHLEEN MORGAN Passed away peacefully Sunday, March 24, 2002 in Moose Jaw with her loving family by her side. Joan was born on the Isle of Wight, England on February 5, 1925. She married Leslie Morgan on September 26, 1946, moving to Canada in 1952 settling briefly in Winnipeg, then to Great Falls, MB where they spent the rest of their married life. Upon Les passing in 1979, Joan moved back to Winnipeg and then to Moose Jaw in 1999. She was an inspiration to and will be sadly missed by her son, Glenn (Margaret) and their children, Cora and Myles Morgan of Winnipeg, Linda (Paul) Beesley and their children, Jeff (Robbie) Beesley and Jana (Ben) Capili - all of Moose Jaw, Neil (Anne) Morgan and their daughters, Melissa and Jamie of Great Falls, MB and her youngest son, Clive Morgan of Vancouver. Mums greatest love was her family: time spent at the cottages, travelling, gardening and knitting. Her home was always an open door and her delicious cooking and baking will not be forgotten by her family and many friends. Joan was a lifelong volunteer and gave freely of her time to the 4-H Club, Womens Institute, Legion Auxiliary, U.C.W., church activities and the Rebekah Lodge, both in Winnipeg and Moose Jaw. Following cremation, A Celebration of Joans Life will be held at the Transcona United Church, 209 Yale Ave. W., Winnipeg on Wednesday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m. At the same time a service will be held at Minto United Church, 1036 - 7th Ave. N.W., Moose Jaw with Rev. John Carley officiating. Memorialization will take place at a later date at the Pine Falls Cemetery, north of Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society of Canada, 265 Yorkland Blvd., Suite #300, Toronto, ON M2J 1S5. In living memory of Joan, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.
