HENRY HABERSTOCK Henry peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2002 at Charleswood Care Centre at the age of 88. Henry was born January 21, 1914 in Roblin, MB where he lived and farmed for many years. He later moved his family to Winnipeg. Following his retirement, Dad loved to grow flowers and garden, he enjoyed many hours outside in his yard. Dad loved working with wood, his pride and joy were the beautiful pieces of furniture he made by hand. Henry will be sadly missed by his children, Wayne (Mary) Haberstock of Calgary, AB, Carol (Marcel) Dion, Richard Haberstock, Dianne (Stan) Williams, and Peggy Kraft (Jack) all of Winnipeg. Also left behind are his ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister Elizabeth Ricker of Roblin, brother Joe (Margaret) Haberstock of Edmonton, AB, and many nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his son Larry, parents, Philipp and Catherine; sisters, Frieda Hanson, Mina Grey, Della and Bertha Haberstock; brothers, Jack and Willie Haberstock. Honorary pallbearers will be April Breed, Nadine Dion, Dustin Williams, Daniel Williams, Tasha Haberstock, Heather Kraft, and Jeff Kraft. Memorial service will be held on Monday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane, with Rev. Michael Boulger presiding. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to all the staff at Charleswood Care Centre, special thanks to Glenda.
