BRYAN WAYNE LESTER October 31, 1952- March 28, 2002 Peacefully with his family at his side, Bryan Wayne Lester passed away March 28, 2002 at Riverview Health Centre after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his father Stan in 1999 and brother Bill in 1995. Left to cherish his memory is his mother Florence; brother Stan (Helen) sisters, Diane (Gary), Linda (Al) twin sister Brenda (Barry) daughter Candace; grandchildren, Tiffany and June; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was born in Winnipeg and was employed for 20 years at Building Products Concrete Supply. During his illness he enjoyed his time spent driving for Vital Transit. The last two years were spent with family and friends, summers at Grand Beach, working on his model car kits and rebuilding his 1972 Nova. We will all miss his special humour and wit. Bryans nature was loving and caring putting others needs before his own, never wanting to burden anyone. We wish to thank his family physician Dr. K. Saunders and the many doctors, specialists and nurses who helped to care for Bryan during his illness. A special thanks to 3E, Riverview Health Centre. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Pastor Norman Broesky officiating.
