ANNE BANDOLA (nee KACHUR) Peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2002, Anne Bandola passed away at Concordia Hospital. Born in Elma, MB, Mrs. Bandola attended High School at Whitemouth, MB. She continued her studies at St. Marys Academy (Winnipeg, MB) and also Teachers College in Winnipeg, MB. She taught school until 1947. In 1947 she married Michael Bandola who predeceased her in 1971. She was also predeceased by her parents and only brother; her father John Kachur in 1961, her mother Theodozia Kachur in 1962 and her brother Nicholas Kachur in 1968. After her marriage and until her demise she lived in Transcona. She was a member of St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church. She was a member of the St. Michaels U.C.W.L. and also a member of the Alumnae of St. Marys Academy. Anne was a promoter of education for young people and tried to help all she could. She leaves to mourn her many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 10:00 a.m. also at Cropo Chapel. Interment will follow in Transcona Cemetery. TO THOSE I LOVED AND THOSE WHO LOVED ME When I am gone, release me, let me go... I have so many things to see and do, You mustnt tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy that we had so many years. I gave to you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now its time I travelled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must, Then let your grief be comforted by trust. Its only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I wont be far away, for life goes on; So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you cant see me or touch me, Ill be near, and if you listen with your heart, youll hear, All of my love around you soft and clear.
