JOHN A. PETERS 1911 - 2002 On Thursday, March 28, 2002 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, John A. Peters, aged 90, of Tabor Home, Morden, formerly of Winkler, went to his eternal rest. He was predeceased by first wife Anne (nee Krahn) in 1979, second wife Anne (nee Fehr) in 1984, son John Peters in 1971, five brothers, and five sisters. He leaves to mourn his passing his two daughters, Mary and husband Cornie Dueck of Morden and Tien and husband Gary Young of Edson, AB; two sons, Chas and wife Viola Peters of Morden and Rick and wife Betty Peters of Morden; daughter-in-law Anne (John) Peters of Assiniboia, SK; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden, Monday 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 3, 11:00 a.m., Zion Lutheran Church, Morden, Pastor Fraser Coltman officiating. Interment will follow at the Winkler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
