Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL SENKIW June 22, 1919 - March 30, 2002 On March 30, after a lengthy illness and brief stay in the hospital at the age of 82, Dad passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Dad was predeceased by his father Stephen and mother Anna; his brother John; his beloved wife Annie; children, Maryanne and Gary. Dad leaves behind his brother Peter (Pauline) and two sisters, Sophie and Mary; and sister-in-law Mary; also his children, Roman (Louise), Sylvia (Tom), Sonia (Gary), Alan (Sydney), Deborah (Ken), Pamela, John (Cynthia), Donald (Mary), and Donna (Harry) nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Dad served overseas during the Second World War; on his return he was employed at Canada Packers for 42 years until his retirement. Dad was an avid cribbage and shuffleboard player. He was also a longtime member of the Ukrainian Canadian Legion and Ukrainian National Home Association. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 5 at 11:00 a.m., also at the chapel, with Rev. Fr. Myron Pozniak officiating. Interment will follow at the Sarto Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the excellent care and compassion given to Dad in his final days.
