EDNA MARGARET BEALLY (COX) -
Date of Passing: Mar 29, 2002
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA MARGARET BEALLY (nee COX) 1924 - 2002 It is with deep sorrow and sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Edna Margaret Beally on Friday, March 29, 2002. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Harry of nearly 53 years; sons, Lorne (Steve), Grant (Sandy), Bruce, Paul (Wendy) grandchildren, Nicole and Steven; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Ednas greatest joy and passion was her family. Her love, compassion and generosity were the foundations for her family and all of her endeavours. One of her greatest joys was the family cottage. Many wonderful times and memories were formed there for an appreciative family and the many friends and relatives who also liked to enjoy our summer retreat. Much nurturing and growth occurred under her watchful eye and gentle touch. After her retirement from Health Science Centre she became even more active in her many clubs and pursuits. She belonged to the Eastern Star for over 30 years, also the local YMCA, Eager Beavers and Good Neighbours Seniors Centre. Among her main interests were reading, several crafts and travel. One of Ednas favourite pastimes was relating stories of her youth and the many enjoyable incidents of raising her family. Her selfless and easy going nature touched everyone who knew her. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 5 at the Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway in Winnipeg. The family asks that friends and relatives make a donation to a charity of their choice, instead of sending flowers, so that Ednas generosity can continue to live on. Dear Mum, There are no words that can express my sorrow and sadness. I would like to express my gratitude for all youve done for me. Youve given me five years of unforgettable memories. For that I will be forever thankful. I will hold you close to my heart and love and miss you from afar. Thank you Mum. Love, Wendy Hartenburger Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331
