KENNETH RICHARD BIETTING On Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Ken Bietting, aged 52 years, of Selkirk, MB, passed away after a brief illness. Ken is survived by his brother Robert (Joanne) and two nephews, Mark and Ryan; along with many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Catherine. Ken was born and raised in Selkirk. He graduated from the Unniversity of Winnipeg and was active in all sports, especially water skiing and also enjoyed coaching younger kids in hockey. He was on the Board of Directors and actively involved in the Selkirk Support Center for ten years. Ken was a generous, kind person who could never say no. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 5 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Kens memory can be made to the Selkirk Support Center, 242 Manitoba Ave., Selkirk, MB, R1A 0Y5. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
