EDWARD ARNOLD FREUND On Sunday, March 31, 2002 at St. Boniface Hospital, Edward Arnold Freund, aged 80 years, of Morden, went to his eternal rest. Ed was the founder of Freunds Auto Body New and Used Parts since 1961. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Mary Freund (nee Unrau) of Morden; daughter Marlene and Terry Nelson of Morden; three sons, Kenneth and Robin of Morden, Larry and Fiancee Joy Rae of Morden and Cecil and Frances of Winkler; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister Elsie Rachul of Morden; two brothers, Elmer and Una of Drayton Valley, AB, Arthur and Ruth of Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by two sons, Brian, 1994; Marvin in 1981 and sister Eleanor in infancy. Public viewing will be held today from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden. Funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Winkler on Thursday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Fraser Coltman officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillside Cemetery, Morden. We wish to express our gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Smith and the St. Boniface Hospital CCU staff, for the professional and compassionate care given our dad during his short stay.
