Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY DENISE TESTER Passed away suddenly on Monday, April 1, 2002 at her residence, Mary Tester aged 75 years of Gladstone. Born November 4, 1926 at Betchworth Surrey England, Mary grew up and received her education in England. During the Second World War she met Norman Tester and was married on March 31, 1945 at Godalming Surrey England. In 1946 Mary came to Canada, to Gladstone where she has since resided. For a number of years Mary was employed at Bill Slades Greenhouse before working as a custodian with her husband at William Morton Collegiate Institute. Mary centered her life around her family, getting great pleasure from entertaining her grandchildren with games and playing cards. She was a member of All Saints Anglican Church, a member of the Anglican Church Women, she also helped organize and run the friendship club for several years. Mary spent many hours knitting and doing needle point, she also enjoyed her night out playing Bingo. Predeceased by her parents; her husband Norman; daughter Denise; brother Richard; and sister Joan. Left to mourn her passing is son Ernie and Charlynne Tester of Gladstone; five grandchildren, Sandra (Bob) Hatch and their children, Amanda and Amiee of Helston, Chris Renard of Brandon, Lori Gould and her son Shawn of Brandon, Randy Renard of Brandon, Amber Tester of Gladstone; brother Tom and sister-in-law Kathy of Godalming Surrey England; brother-in-law Fred Tester of Gladstone; sister-in-law Helen Tester of Estevan, as well as several nieces and nephews. In accordance with Marys wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gladstone Cemetery. Rev. James Bardsley officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the All Saints Anglican Church, c/o Box 336, Gladstone, MB, R0J 0T0. Clarkes Funeral Home, Gladstone in care of arrangements.
