CAROLINE PELK Peacefully, on Monday, April 1, 2002, at the Neepawa District Memorial Hospital, Caroline Pelk passed away at the age of 86 years. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 67 years, Wilfird; daughters, Dorothy (Walter) Mauthe, Eleanor (Art) Biddlecomb, Joyce (Dave) Dolding;son Melvin (Carol),and daughter-in-law Dora Pelk;14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brother Leo (Betty) Preusentanz, sister Dora (Walter) Zborowski; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Preisentanz and Classie (Murray) Little; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Johann and Barbara (Buffi) Preusentanz; brothers, Albert, Fred and Ernie; son Ken and three infant children. Caroline was bornat Glenella, MB, on June 13, 1915. She was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church at Waldersee, MB. She and Wilfird were married on September 22, 1934, and together they farmed at Riding Mountain, MB, untill they retired to Neepawa, MB, in 1978. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Neepawa and in her earlier years active in the Lutheran Womens Missionary League. Funeral service will held on April 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Neepawa, with Rev. Ken Edel and Rev. Alvin Borchardt officiating.Intermentto follow in Riverside Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church Building Fund. Whites Funeral Home, Neepawa, in care of arrangements.
