JEAN CARRIERE (ANTONATION) After a courageous and lengthy battle with a terminal illness, we wish to announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, on March 23, 2002, at the Nanaimo Hospital in British Columbia. She was predeceased by her husband Leon Carriere; mother and father, Harry and Tina Antonation; brothers, Matt, Bill, John, Fred and Roy; and her very close companion, Norm Hartley. She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Ann Antonation of Winnipeg, Lucy Fitzell of Vernon, BC, Marie McDonald, Rose Fedorowich, Helen Ahlgren of Winnipeg; brothers, Lloyd (Merle) of Winnipeg, Mike of Vancouver, BC, Pete (Dorothy) of Winnipeg, Orest (Ann) of Calgary, AB; numerous nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place in Parkville, BC. Family service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., on Saturday, April 6 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Fr. Ihor Royik officiating. Inurnment will follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice. We wish to express our gratitude to the nurses on the 5th floor of Nanaimo Hospital for their kindness and compassion. You didnt deserve what you went through And so towards the end, He gave you rest. Gods home must be beautiful, He only takes the best. God of Heaven, I see your hand stretching as far as the East is from the West. Put Your hands and arms around me, embrace me. Father, take me home to thy hands. O Lord, I commend my Spirit.
