WALTER SLOBODIAN Peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2002 in St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 73 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, three sons, Michael (Leslie), Walter, John (Christine) four daughters, Joyce (Dave), Jean (Marcel), Margaret, Shirley (Kelvin) his 12 grandchildren, Chuck, Christine, Cathy, Shannon, Sandra, Johnny, Jimmy, Kayla, Colton, Amanda, Brian, Kellie; and five great-grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Hailey, Faylee and Breanne. Walter was a very generous person who gave freely of his time to his community, acting as the Recreational Director for Glen Lee Community club for ten years. He enjoyed life to the fullest, playing his guitar and visiting with his many friends and family. Funeral Service will be held in Green Acres Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane on Monday, April 8, 2002 at 10:00 a.m., viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
