ANTHONY "TONY" SVOBODA 1932 - 2002 On Tuesday April 2, 2002, at his residence in Darlingford, Tony Svoboda, aged 69 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Trudy; daughter Dawn and husband Gordie Clayton of Darlingford and their children, Greg, Jennifer, and Candace; son Jim Svoboda and special friend Brenda Pounds of Winnipeg; sister Ella Born of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Sheila Svoboda of BC; step-children, Barb and husband Jack Pethybridge, Blaine and wife Lois Gould, Marci and special friend Doug Atkins, Donna and husband Doug Bruce, Sandra and husband Glenn Yeo; and 12 step-grandchildren, all of Carman. He was predeceased by first wife Isabelle (1995) a daughter in infancy; two brothers, Roy and Ken; and parents, Elizabeth and Frank Svoboda. Funeral service will be held on Saturday April 6 2:00 p.m. at Zion Calvin United Church, Darlingford, with Wayne Larstone officiating. Interment will follow at the Darlingford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Darlingford Evergreen Club, General Delivery, Darlingford, MB, R0G 0L0 or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
