NORAH ANN FIDDLER (nee FIDLER) Peacefully, with her family present, Norah Fiddler passed away at the age of 86 years on Thursday, April 4, 2002 in Central Park Lodge. She was born in Sandy Lake, MB on February 12, 1916. She left this world as she had lived her life: with strength, independence and dignity. Norah successfully overcame many obstacles in her life such as polio and two years of blindness. She enjoyed her many years as a nurse in Saskatchewan. She took much pleasure and pride serving many years of volunteer work for the community of Camperville. After retiring, her passions were her family, reading, card playing, bingo, baking and gardening. Surviving Norah are her children, Judy Beauregard, Robert Fiddler (Brenda), and Patricia Fiddler (Don) her grandchildren, Reena (Mark), Pam (Faron), Neil, Trinna (Stephen), Julie, Jackie, and Dena; her great-grandchildren, Brennan and Jordan; and other family members. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred; parents, John and Julienne Fidler; and her siblings, Tom, Katie, Willie, Nellie and Robert. She was the last surviving member of the Fidler family. As per her wishes, Mom will return to her home of 60 years in Camperville, MB where a mass will be held in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows at a later date. Our family would like to thank the staff at Central Park Lodge, especially those on the 7th floor, for the care and compassion that they provided to Norah and her family. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Norahs memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
