Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICK HUSAK September 16, 1930 - April 8, 2002 On Monday, April 8, 2002 our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully in his sleep. He will be sadly missed, loved and cherished by his loving wife of 23 years Pauline; his son Gord (Leona) son Terry; stepdaughter Rhonda (Ed) stepson Randy; and his beloved dog Auggie. Also to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, April, Darrin, Allan, Travis, Kayla, Christopher; his brothers, Mike and Peter; as well as nieces, nephews, family and friends. Fred was predeceased by his brother Walter; sister Ann; his parents, John and Teenie Husak; his son Michael and his niece Maureen. He was born September 16, 1930 in Gordon, MB. Fred was a crane operator and worked for Litz Crane and Rigging up until his retirement. Fred was also an active member of the International Union of Operating Engineers with 40 years active service. Fred was a man who loved his work and also to tinker around home. He also enjoyed riding around in his truck with his sidekick Auggie. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. The family would like to thank the ambulance attendants, rescue workers, 911 operator, the staff at the Grace Hospital and the hospital chaplain for his comforting words to us. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Mary Best will officiate with interment to follow in the Stonewall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Freds memory to the charity of your choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
