ANNE HARMS (nee LOEWEN) On Monday, April 8, 2002 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB, aged 67 years, surrounded by her family, Anne was taken home to be with her Lord and Saviour. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years Frank, her sons, Larry (Connie), Allan (Christal), and Lloyd (Michelle) grandchildren, Jonathan, Serena, Amanda, and Abigail; brothers and sisters, Peter (Marg), John, Jacob, Margaret, Abe (Laurie), William, Susan (Abe), Bernard (Mildred), and Viola (Henry). Anne was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Margaretha Loewen; her sister Lena; and two infant brothers. Anne was born in Rosenfeld, MB on December 12, 1934 and lived most of her life on a farm south of Steinbach. Anne was a kind woman who put the concerns of others ahead of her own and never had a harsh word to say. Anne was a hard worker who, in addition to her farm chores, enjoyed keeping a large garden, sewing, and crafts. Even her hobbies were for the benefit and enjoyment of others. Anne was quiet, but her let her kind actions and efforts do the talking. We will all miss you very much. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12 at the Christian Fellowship Church, Steinbach. Viewing will be at Loewen Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 11, between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. Interment in the Heritage Cemetery. Her sons and daughters-in-law will be her pallbearers. The family would like to extend their great appreciation tot he homecare workers who took wonderful care of her and kept her as comfortable as possible during her illness. Our family would also like to thank the staff at the Bethesda Hospital for the care and compassion that they provided to Anne and her family during her last months. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annes memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Manitoba, 400-141 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 0R3.
