DEAN ROBERT COLUCCI December 7, 1967 - April 11, 2002 Very sadly Dean passed away suddenly at the age of 34 at his home in Hazelridge. Dean is survived by his wife Raylene, son Daniel, daughter Shae-lyn and son Jayden. Other family members include mom and dad, Art and Angela Colucci; brother Fred (Isabel) Colucci, nieces, Jacqueline and Jasmine; sister Madilena (James) Berze, niece and nephew, Sonya and Kevin; Grandparents, Maria and Giuseppe Corvello; mother and father-in-law, Ron and Sherrie Burkitt; brother-in-law Rick (Jennifer) Smith, and niece and nephew, Nicole and Brady. Also many cousins, uncles and aunts. Dean was born in Sioux Lookout, ON where he grew up until he was 15. He then moved to Winnipeg with his parents. He had his first son Daniel in 1987. In 1989 he began his career as an AME apprentice with Air Manitoba. He met his wife, Raylene in 1991, they built their house in Hazelridge in 1992, got married in 1994 and in 1995 he got his license as a certified AME. They had their first child, Shae-lyn in 1996 and son Jayden was born in 1998. Dean accomplished so much as an AME and ended his career with Westjet. Dean loved life in the country, and enjoyed looking after his yard. He liked fishing, snowmobiling and most of all working on his multitude of vehicles. The love of his life was definitely his three children. They will miss him dearly. The moment that you died, Our hearts split in two, The one side filled with memories, The other died with you. We often lay awake at night, When the world is fast asleep, And take a walk down memory lane, With tears upon our cheeks. Remembering you is easy, We do it every day, But missing you is a heartache, That never goes away. We hold you tightly within our hearts, And there you will remain, Life has gone on without you, But it never will be the same. For those who still have their dads, Treat him with tender care, You will never know the emptiness, As when you turn and he is not there. Pallbearers are Fred Colucci, Jim Berze, Paul Colucci, John Corvello, Danny Colucci and Patrick Corvello. Honorary Pallbearers are Tim Getson, Steven Corvello and Mark Corvello. Many thanks to friends, family and the crew at Westjet for all their support. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements. Prayers will be held there on April 15 at 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Parish, 425 Rosseau Ave. E. April 16 at 3:00 p.m., and he will be laid to rest at Sunnyside Cemetery.
