JOHN FEDOROWICH Mr. John Fedorowich, beloved husband of Mrs. Janice (Cooney) Fedorowich, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away with his family at his side at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 at the age of 80 years. John is survived by his wife Janice; children, Pat Checkryn (Leon), Jason, Aaron and Suzanne; Julie Fedorowich; Susan Hutton (Malcolm), Chris, Perry and wife Kristie; Tina Law (Gilbert), Warren, Wes and Ryan; John Fedorowich (Kelly), Kristy and Jennifer; and Janice Fedorowich (Keith Grift), Michael, Danny, Jeremy and Shaun. John is also survived by brother Peter; sister Mary; nephew Larry Kuprowski; niece Wanda Bonin and their families. John was born September 10, 1921 in Winnipeg, MB. He and Janice were married in 1947 in Winnipeg where they lived and raised their family. They were longtime residents of Winnipeg, most specifically of Transcona, until Johns retirement from Winnipeg Hydro in 1980. He was employed at Hydro for over 36 years. He and Janice moved to Lethbridge, AB and have lived there for the past 14 years. Johns life revolved around his family. They were the most important part of his life. Anything involving his children or his grandchildren were the highlights of his life. He was an avid sports fan and spent many hours watching a variety of sports, especially hockey. He and the family spent many winters at the hockey rink with son John. The family gathered in the summers at the cabin at Gimli and then in later years at White Lake with nephew Larry Kuprowski and his family. A private family service was held at Cornerstone Funeral Home, 2800 Mayor Magrath Dr. South, Lethbridge, AB. Cremation. Interment will take place in Winnipeg at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined.
