WILLIAM "BILL" CLASPER Peacefully after a lengthy illness, Bill Clasper, aged 87, passed away on April 14, 2002. He was predeceased by his parents as well as two brothers, Bob and Joe. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Olive; three sons, Barry (Pam), Tom and Bob (Marilyn) grandchildren, Andrea (Bill) Murray, Ken, Brian, Kimberly, and Doug. He will also be remembered by nieces and nephews in California and cousins in England. Bill retired from the special projects engineering office of MTS in 1976 after 35 years of service. Bill and Olive were avid Square Dancers belonging to several clubs and he also belonged to the Fort Rouge Curling Club, where he participated and enjoyed the game. Thank you to the staff of the Victoria Hospital, 5th Floor South for their caring and compassion shown to Bill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0A7 or to a charity of your choice. Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow.
