Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET CAMERON Died after a brief illness, at St. Boniface Hospital on April 16, 2002. Born Margaret Hulda Ostman, one of three children, in Winnipeg on March 30, 1916. Her early education was received first at Lord Roberts School and then at Kelvin High School, which she left in Grade 11 after the death of her father. She worked for a period of time at Christie Biscuits, then as companion to an elderly couple in St. Paul, MN. She then worked for the Federal Department of Indian Affairs, where she was in charge of teacher placement in the North - this position lasted until her retirement. Upon retirement she continued her lifelong leisure activities of bowling, curling and canasta. She also travelled extensively. She spent many weekends at Gull Lake, MB with friends and family. She married her first husband, Richard Hickman, in 1950. He predeceased her in 1952. In 1964 she married Angus Cameron, who predeceased her in 1966. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends, most particularly her friend of 75 years, Alva Cook. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
