MARGARET DRIEDGER Margaret Driedger born October 29, 1919 in Gruenfeld, Southern Russia passed away April 15, 2002 at Carman Memorial Hospital. She immigrated to Canada in 1923 to the town of Glen Bush, SK. They moved to Blumenfeld south of Winkler in 1925 where she received her education. She was baptized upon confession of her faith on July 16, 1944 by Bishop J. Bueckert into the Blumenorter Mennonite Church. She was an excellent cook and loved to spend time gardening. She was predeceased by three brothers, John Driedger, George Driedger and Frank and sister-in-law Susan Driedger; and one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jake Janzen; and one sister Tina Driedger. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law Jac and Henrietta Driedger of Carman; one sister Sara Driedger of Steinbach; and numerous nieces and nephews: Alvin and Margaret Janzen and family, Lora and Martin Durksen and family, Barry Driedger, Carol and Terry Bates and family, Cathy and Blake McCutcheon and family, John and Juli Driedger and family, Wenda and Bill Edge and family, and Shelley Driedger. Funeral service will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman, MB on Saturday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Bob Pauls officiating. Viewing will take place prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. Memorial donations may be made to the MCC, 134 Plaza Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3T 3K9 or to a charity of your choice. Doyle Funeral Chapel of Carman in care of arrangements.
