Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET LINKLATER Peacefully, on Monday, April 15, 2002, Margaret Linklater, aged 77 years, passed away at the Pine Falls Hospital. She leaves to mourn her special friend Leonard Hagberg; daughters, Viv (Morris) Berthelette, Cheryl (Maurice) Boulanger, Sherry (Albert) Charles; and son Derwin of Mission, BC; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Doreen, Elaine, Betty, Faye and Pat; and brothers, Charles, Ashley and Grant. She was predeceased by her mother Mildred Hampton; stepfather Charlie; brother Gordon; infant son Gordon; brother Leslie; daughter Linda; and former husband Stuart. Mom enjoyed making quilts and made the best pickles. She enjoyed her bingo and spent a lot of time at Beach Bums, her favorite coffee shop. She loved Victoria Beach where she lived most of her life. There will be viewing at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E., Beausejour, on Thursday, April 18 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Michaels Anglican Church in Victoria Beach with Rev. Brad Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Victoria Beach Cemetery. Her pallbearers will be her grandsons, Don and Clayton Smith, Cameron, Grant and Dezi Pachkowsky, Chris Romano, Scott and Justin Linklater and Ian Charles. The family would like to express thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff at the Pine Falls Hospital. Also to Dale Olfason, thank you for your kindness in looking after Mom when we couldnt be there.
