Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH OMER GASPARD Suddenly, on April 17, 2002 at the St. Boniface Hospital, from complications following heart surgery. He is survived by six sisters, Mariette, Yvonne, Helen, Edy, Marguerite, and Rita; and one brother Fred. Joey was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg but spent much of his life moving between Mallorca, Spain, Arizona, USA and Winnipeg, Canada. He was an artist by profession and that love of art dominated his entire life. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. Flowers are gratefully declined; donations in Joeys memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
