MARY BRAGDON Peacefully on April 19, 2002, Mary Bragdon (nee Matychak) at the age of 94 years, with her family by her side. Mary was born in Ladywood, MB. She loved gardening and blueberry picking. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Clyde Bragdon, her mother Anne and father Samuel, son-in-law Ray Waechter, four sisters, and one brother. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Betty of Regina, SK and Shirley and husband Frank Wright of Winnipeg; five grandchildren, Mike (Roxanne), Kim, Mary (Joe), Frank (Brenda), and Diane of Regina, SK; nine great-grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Chris, Tina, Melissa, Leann, Shae-Lynn, Andrew, and Ashley. Mary lived in her own home until the age of 87. She then moved to her other home at the Oak Unit of Fred Douglas Lodge, where she received excellent care. The family wishes to thank all the staff, especially Heather, Richard, Elsie, Ellen, and Marge for all their excellent care and support during Marys last days. Viewing and Prayers will take place on Tuesday, April 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance, Fr. Ihor Royik officiating. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic church, 590 Alverstone St., Winnipeg. Internment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Wright Sr. and son Michael Wright Jr., Frank Wright Jr., and son Andrew Wright, Joe Goncalves and son Christopher Goncalves. Honorary pallbearers will be all those who attend. We will all miss you Mom but we know that you are with Dad. TILL WE MEET AGAIN No flower - donations can be made to Fred Douglas Lodge.
