ALFRED LAZARUS FAVEL Peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2002 at the Pine Falls Hospital, Alfred Lazarus Favel of Seymourville, MB passed away at the age of 63 years. Alfred was born at Hollow Water on July 5, 1938, spending his entire life at Seymourville and Hollow Water. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his beloved wife Clara; three sons, Germain (Anne), Clayton (Colleen) and Barry (Wanda) three daughters, Geraldine, Darlene (Leo) and Veronica (Alvin) 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, George (Emily) and Alex (Mabel) four sisters, Alice (Henry) Moneas, Beverly (Peter) Smith, Lydia (Pat) Bushie, and Florence Favel; five stepsisters, Flora Williams, Nancy Clarke, Edith (Clem) Courchene, Janet (Hank) Simard and Lillian (Allen) Bushie; and one stepbrother Clarence (Yvonne) Peebles. He was predeceased by his father Alfred, mother Alice, sister Matilda and grandfather Lazarus Bruce. Wake services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2002, Sunday, April 21, 2002, and Monday, April 22, 2002 at the Hollow Water Band Hall. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at 2:00 p.m., also at the Hollow Water Band Hall, with Rev. Nancy Bruyere and Fr. Laval Cloutier officiating. Interment to follow at the Hollow Water Anglican Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Johnstone, Clarence Flett, Alex Favel, George Favel, Henry Moneas Sr., Peter Smith and Norbert Guimond.
