LEONARD BYARD HILL Peacefully, at the Riverview Geriatric Centre, Leonard passed away on April 18, 2002, after a short-time ailment. Born in 1917, Leonard served for 26 years in the PPCLI and then completed his career working at MTS until his retirement. Leonard was predeceased by his loving wife, Mae in November 1995 and his daughter Patricia Blodgett, in December 2001. He is survived by his oldest son George and wife Dorothy, granddaughter Courtney Hill of Winnipeg, and stepfamily, Joe Reimer and wife Kathy, Mathew and great-granddaughters, Carolyn and Kimberly, all of Morris, MB; his youngest son Allan and his daughter Lisa Marie; son-in-law John Blodgett and his son David, Davids wife Julie and great-granddaughters, Jennifer and Brianna of New Milford, CT. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 -310 Broadway, Winnipeg MB R3C 0S6.
