CLARENCE HONKE After a courageous battle with cancer, Clarence Honke, aged 67 of Seven Sisters, MB passed away on April 24, 2002 at the Beausejour Hospital with his daughters by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his good friend Verna Bulas; his son Rodney Lee Meyers (Angela) of Vancouver, BC; his daughters, Amy Lynn Kirby (Calvin) of Whitemouth, MB and Sandra Joan Honke (Larry) of Beausejour, MB; his brothers, Ben Honke (Bernice), Arllen Honke, Melvin Honke, Lawrence Honke (Rose) his sisters, Evelyn Gartz, Jeanette Barthelette (Lloyd), Mildred Messerschmidt (Victor), Betty Martinson (Gordon) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Hulda Honke; and his sister Myrtle Honke. A prayer service will be held on Friday April 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E. Beausejour. The funeral service will be held on Saturday April 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, River Hills, MB with Pastor Don Reimer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may view at the church prior to the service. His honourary pallbearers will be Albert Schultz, Ron Coyne and George Kretchmer. His active pallbearers will be George Schultz, Curtis Honke, Fraser Honke, Les Honke, Rick Perchaylo and Clifford Rerick.
