WILLIAM "BILL" LASKO It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Bill Lasko. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Josephine Lasko; sister Vera; brothers, Taras and Mike. Bill leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his wife Vicky; daughters, Brenda and Tammy; grandchildren, Bradley and Sarah. Also left to mourn are sisters, Olga Pinniger and Joan Johnson; sisters-in-law, Mary and Anne; brothers, Walter, Borden and John (Kelly) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bill grew up on the family farm in St. Adolphe, MB, where he helped his father and brothers farm the land. When Bill left home he joined the army and trained in Shilo, MB. Later he found employment with C.P. Transport where he worked for 32 years. Bill found much enjoyment in driving his truck, throughout Canada and the United States. He was an active member of the Legion at St. Vital Branch No. 16, where he had many close friends. Bill loved to spend time fishing, camping and hunting, but most of all Bill loved spending time with Vicky and his girls. He will always be remembered for having a great sense of humour.
