She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bill (Anja) of Cloverdale, BC, Birnie (Barb), Jim (Bailee), Mary (Paul) son-in-law Vince; her sister and very best friend Joey; and brother-in-law Tom Kennedy. Mom has now joined her husband Norman who recently passed away. She was also predeceased by her brother George; daughter Linda; sister Ellie; and her parents. Mom had a habit of making friends and family feel special and loved. She always put the needs of others before her own. Her heart and home were open to all. She will always be remembered as a good friend and a good neighbour. The family is very grateful for the wonderful care Mom received by the staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital (Unit 4-3rd Floor). Once again, our thanks to Dr. Jamie Boyd for his never-ending support and compassion. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 29 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St., with Major Daphne Maye officiating. As per Moms wishes, cremation has taken place.
