ETHEL OTTALLYNE BROWN On Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, MB, Ethel Brown, aged 94 years, of Carman, MB. Ethel was born in 1908. She was the seventh child born to James and Alberta Brown of Roland, MB, from a family of eleven. Graduating as a nurse from Regina General Hospital, class of 1932. Nursing was her career as an individual and at times her siblings received her assistance. Ethel is survived by her sister Bertha Holmes of Winnipeg and brother Ivan (Dorine) Brown of Carman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel, in Carman, MB, on Monday, April 29, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Reception to follow the service. Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery, Roland, MB, at 1:30 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Boyne Lodge, Box 1644, Carman, MB, R0G 0J0 or to the Alzheimer Society, 205 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1R4.
