Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE THELMA GOODMAN Irene Goodman (nee McCallum) formerly of Winnipeg, died peacefully and with her family around her on Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at the Cowichan District Hospital, Duncan, BC. Irene was predeceased by her husband Johnny and her brother Roy McCallum. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Bunny Goodman; daughter, Jill and John Macarthur; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Wade Macknak and John and partner Marcie Parkin and Ayrton Macarthur. Mum had a full life. She loved outdoor activities until her last days. She participated in the Canadian Senior Games, coming home with the silver more than once. Her artistic ability was appreciated by everyone. She enjoyed healthy competition, good friends and family. Mums thirst for knowledge and personal growth maintained her enthusiasm for life. She was an inspiration to us and as much as were going to miss her, we celebrate her new journey. I first met my Friend Irene in 1983 . She was very special to me and i am going to miss her a lot. I am not sure if this is the same Irene that I knew all the years .
